I was born and raised in the San Fernando Valley with my parents, sisters, and brother. For my undergraduate career, I attended the University of California, Santa Cruz and received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology. I then returned to Southern California and attended Loyola Marymount University for my teaching credential and Master of Arts degree in Elementary Education. This will be my seventh year teaching at Richmond Street School following six transformative years. I am so pleased to be part of such a wonderful community. It will surely be another memorable school year!
I now live in Redondo Beach with my husband, Zack; our daughter, Julia; our dog, Berdel; and our chinchilla, Tilly. When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, playing board games, hiking, going to the beach, and traveling when I can. I look forward to getting to know your family better throughout the year and for you to get to know me further as well!
